Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Chef Christos Bisiotis graduated from OTEK (culinary school in Greece) however his education and love for food was influenced at an early age; spending time cooking with his beloved grandmother Terpsichore (Τερψιχόρη, or in short Térpsi which in Greek translates to the pleasure you get by eating).
Never sacrificing quality of ingredients while honoring his deep roots and passion for food from his grandmother, Térpsi by Christos Bisiotis is his Greek concept that focuses on sourcing the best products and celebrating family-learned techniques highlighting Greek culture on the plate.
Térpsi taught him how to, “cook from the heart and give smell to memories,” and with that, Bisiotis has taken the philosophy with each Greek restaurant he has opened, previously including Avra Beverly Hills (2018) and Milos Hudson Yards (2019).
In-between the years, Bisiotis has had several achievements including, being Nominated for Michelin Star at The Greek (2014), being the First Greek American Chef to cook, by invitation from the White House Executive Chef for the Annual United States Congress Dinner (2013) and participated and competed with head chefs in the International Gastronomic Festival in Athens (2007).

Chef Christos Bisiotis' love for Italian cooking began in 2010, working as Chef de Cuisine at Eataly NYC Flatiron, and over four years, assisted with the opening Eataly Chicago and international locations, as well as being presented in New York Food and Wine Magazine (2013) on behalf of vibrant and artisanal Italian concept.
In 2020, while Bisiotis was in the process of opening up his first restaurant, he faced an onset of challenges due to the worldwide pandemic. With that, he decided to put his dreams of his own endeavor aside; moving to Miami and helping with the opening of celebrated Italian restaurant Carbone Miami, falling right back in love with the cuisine and leading all fresh pasta production.

In 2017, Chef Christos Bisiotis was Consulting Chef of EL AL Airlines, Israel's national airline. Creating rich and varied menu items, with palate-pleasing specialties and delicacies created from choice ingredients, his experience allowed passengers to experience diverse Israeli and international menus on flight.
His love for Israeli cooking has stuck through the years. Lox n' Love comes as Bisiotis' ode to Israeli cuisine and its beautiful combination of spices, ingredients and flavors.
